I think silently, I\u2019ve always struggled with my mental health.\u00a0 The peak though was four years ago, when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, an autoimmune disease that can\u2019t be cured. While the physical symptoms remain but are no longer visible, what lingered was something harder to talk about \u2014 the toll it took on my mental health. I ended up in counselling, trying to make sense of it all, something which I don\u2019t mind admitting took a lot of courage to start. It made a difference.\u00a0 Talking to my wife made a difference.\u00a0 Talking to family and a few trusted friends made a difference.\u00a0 Without those conversations I don\u2019t know where I\u2019d be.\u00a0<\/p>
